How To Handle Trouble

John 16:33These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. Don’t be surprised that we have trouble. 1 Peter 4:12-13 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. Most of our trials and persecution is just life. It’s not some strange thing. Everyone lives and everyone dies. Everyone has times of happiness and times of sadness. The people of many nations have enjoyed many liberties and freedoms that suddenly lost them due to tyrannical wicked people who have made a power grab and these people have had freedoms taken away from them down through the years. So what is happening to America is not a strange thing, it’s just new to us. But we can handle it because even the Jewish Apostles lived under the iron hand of Roman rule and authority and they endured and thrived. Roman citizens enjoyed many freedoms and benefits but non-citizens like the Hebrews did not and were oppressed in many areas. Hence Paul and the apostles got in trouble often.
