SALVATION
HEBREWS 2:3
TEXT VERSE:
Heb 2:1 Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
Heb 2:2 For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;
Heb 2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
Heb 2:4 God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?
The purpose of this series is to help the new Christian as well as the older Christian Bible student to rejoice in "so great a salvation"

THE APPLICATION JUSTIFICATION
Repentance deals with a person's reaction to God. Faith deals with the attitude to God and justification deals with the approach to God.
Being justified through the redemption in Christ Jesus means that we as believers are cleared of all charges of our guilt and sin. Christ paid this debt and became our substitution by become His own condemnation on the cross as the ultimate sacrifice.
Heb 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
God goes as far to declare us the forgiven sinners perfect in His sight without any record of sin or accusation of guilt. This loving act by Christ was once and for all forever and ever amen!!!!!
Rom 8:33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
Rom 8:34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
Rom 6:10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
Justification is given to any one by faith.
2Co 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Faith in Christ as the only Saviour transfers the condemnation for our sin to Christ then in return the perfection of Christ is transferred to us the believers.
As well justification is the expression of the grace of God and also the experiences of the child of God.
1-Forgiveness- Rom 4:6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, Rom 4:7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.
2-Peace- Rom 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
3-Happiness-Rom 5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
4-Hope-Rom 5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
5-Love-Rom 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
6-Security-Rom 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
7-Reconciliation-Rom 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
8-Deliverence-Rom 8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? Rom 8:33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
Justification was finalized or completed at the Resurreciton of Lord and Saviour on that first Easter Morning
Since sin separated man from God back in the garden resulting in our spiritual and physical deaths then we have a new full life in the Jesus Christ our risen Lord and Saviour and this makes possible justification.
Eph 2:1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
Rom 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
Rom 5:20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
Rom 5:21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
Rom 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
