As a reminder, we are: 1- Born Again to a Living Hope 2- Called to Live Holy Lives 3- Shown how to be a Living Stone and a Holy People 4- How to Submit to Authority 5- Reminded that for all of that we WILL be Ridiculed and Rejected, for our Life choices.

Peter asks, “Who is there to harm you for being ZEALOUS for what is good?”
Zealous translates from the Greek to be Earnest, Enthusiastic. To Seek and Desire.
But he also reminds us that any rejection brings with it Blessing.
We have NOTHING to fear, or to be troubled about.
And lest we be overwhelmed by the things of this world, Peter challenges us to always have a defense (NOT an argument) prepared, when asked where this Hope within us comes from.
But always respond in gentleness and respect.
Anyone here know what is the easiest thing to do when confronted? (Wait for it)
Tell the Truth.
Why?
Because the truth never changes.
