Pastor Mike

Suffering for Jesus is NOT a popular topic. It wasnt 2,000 years ago and it hasn't gotten any more popular. But Peter teaches us that there is a greater reward in store for those who face great trials and tribulations in Christs name. Not always in this life but a Promise from God in eternity

Episode Notes

Point 1: PRAGMATIC
‌Peter is not naive in thinking that just by doing good, all will be roses and unicorns for us.

Point 2: The PROBLEM
‌Peter repeats the teachings of Jesus, in Matt 10 that those who suffer for Righteous will be Blessed of God.
‌And in spite of whatever trials we face, we have nothing to fear from those issues- If we hold our faith/belief in Christ.

Point 3: BE PREPARED
‌So, instead of grumbling and complaining about stuff, we need to be prepared with an answer as to why we can hold to Hope in spite of everything falling apart.
