The woman who said YES to God’s plan, who labored and gave birth to Him in a filthy barn, who raised Him, taught Him, worried about Him and did all the things that a Mom does... this woman stood at the foot of the cross and watched her own son be executed... so that He could save us all and rise again. Mary’s story models what we all must understand: YES to God is only the beginning; There will be trials. No one is spared from suffering. But instead of being afraid of what all that means, we have the comfort of having Jesus alive in us.
