The Calm Soul I don’t think I will be done with the soul until it completely surrenders to God's will. Our mind, will and emotions scatter too easily. “In patience, we possess our souls.” Scripture for thought Isaiah 30:15 For the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel, has said: “By repentance and rest you would be saved; your strength would lie in quiet confidence— but you were not willing.” Luke 21:18-19 …Yet not even a hair of your head will perish. By your patient endurance, you will gain your souls. Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. ... Leaning Into Our Strength Isaiah 12:1-4 And in that day, you will say: “O LORD, I will praise You; Though You were angry with me, Your anger is turned away, and You comfort me. Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; ‘For YAH, the LORD, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation.’” Therefore, with joy, you will draw water From the wells of salvation. And in that day, you will say: “Praise the LORD, call upon His name; Declare His deeds among the peoples, Make mention that His name is exalted. Jude 1:20-25 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And on some have compassion, making a distinction; but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh. Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy.
