Be encouraged and stay in faith 2 Corinthians 4:7-18 (8-11) We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. Through suffering, our bodies continue to share in the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus may also be seen in our bodies. Yes, we live in constant danger of death because we serve Jesus so that the life of Jesus will be evident in our dying bodies. 2 Corinthians 4:10 Through suffering, our bodies continue to share in the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus may also be seen in our bodies Our relationship with Jesus causes us to respond to our situations and circumstances the way Christ would. We are dead to sin and alive in Christ. The Bible says in Romans that “he who has raised Christ from the dead will also quicken our mortal bodies. The word quicken means to make alive. We are a holy temple unto the Lord and it's time to start living in Christ. Romans 8:11 And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit, who lives in you. Ephesians 3:16-21
