Receive His Joy

Knowing the Lord is everything and living in the joy that He has for you is more. The joy of the Lord is life and peace for us. The Lord is rejoicing over you because you belong to Him. Enter the Joy of the Lord. I've always thought that joy was something that I or someone in my life had to perform or that joy would be something I would gain physically. But real joy is only found in the creator who knows us and excepts us the way we are. Remember “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8 Scripture for thought Isaiah 11:2-5 NCV These verses explain the Spirit of Life working in us. Psalm 16:11 You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. Nehemiah 8:10 Then Nehemiah told them, “Go and eat what is rich, drink what is sweet, and send out portions to those who have nothing prepared since today is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.” Zephaniah 3: 16-17 (17) The LORD your God is among you; He is mighty to save. He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you with His love; He will rejoice over you with singing.” Matthew 16:13-17 (17) Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah! For this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by My Father in heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock, I will build My church, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” Do not choke with the concerns of this life. Mark 4:7 Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the seedlings, and they yielded no crop. Jesus explains Mark 4:18-19 Others are like the seed planted among the thorny weeds. They hear the teaching, but the worries of this life, the temptation of wealth, and many other evil desires keep the teaching from growing and producing fruit in their lives. The Lord is that joy, so I gladly enter the presence of the Lord.
