Proclaiming the Lord's name is not just saying Jesus, it is knowing the one who is our salvation. It is knowing what is in the name of the Lord and what’s in that name is life and peace, what’s in the name is protection, His name is comfort, it's help when you hurt, and when you're confused it's clarity. All of this is derived from The Lord's great love for us. Scripture for thoughts Exodus 33:12-19 Exodus 33:19 Then He said, “I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. Exodus 34:5-7 Now the LORD descended in the cloud and stood with him there and proclaimed the name of the LORD. And the LORD passed before him and proclaimed, “The LORD, the LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children’s children to the third and the fourth generation.” Psalm 91:1 God is Love, and everything we need for life is in this love.
