Paradox Mindset

Paradox: A statement that seems to go against common sense but may still be true. : a false statement that at first seems true. A person or thing having qualities that seem to be opposites. Paradoxical. Without the word we live in a paradox, we are uncertain. We must be sure of what we hope for and confident about what we do not yet see. Genesis 3 presented a paradox, Genesis 3:1-3 Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field that the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden? The woman answered the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden, but about the fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden, God has said, ‘You must not eat of it or touch it, or you will die.’ ” Scriptures for thought Hebrews11:1-3 Now faith is the assurance of what we hope for and the certainty of what we do not see. This is why the ancients were commended. By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. James 1:8 Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do. James 4:8 Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. My Thoughts I want to be, I need to be, I am certain of what I ask for, and confident that it is God's will for me. I'm so glad that God our father has given me something to hope for. I'm so glad that he's allowed me to lack because this need is something that only he can supply. My hope is in you Lord, you already knew that I was in need and have placed everything that I need in heaven for me. I agree with your word for my life. So father thank you in the name of Jesus, for the goodness you have desired for us we agree and say, let that be. Whatever our needs are the Father has placed them in heaven for us to say it and believe it. Time with the Lord and expectation are key.
