Capturing rebellious thoughts, bringing down high thoughts and destroying prideful thoughts starts with each of our minds. (2 Corinthians 10:4-6) We have been given the power to come into the knowledge of the truth. Galatians 5:24-25 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there. Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. Romans 10:8-10 (What God Has put in our hearts and in our mouths.) God has saved our souls and word has entered your heart that is the word we speak. We exercise our salvation by speaking the word that is in our heart. 2 Corinthians 10:3-6 (I like the KJV on this one because this obedience starts with us.) For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. John 17:14-19 I have given them your word. And the world hates them because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world. I’m not asking you to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from the evil one. They do not belong to this world any more than I do. Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth. Just as you sent me into the world, I am sending them into the world. And I give myself as a holy sacrifice for them so they can be made holy by your truth. Let’s make sure we forgive and pray.
