God, family member, or friend, who comes first? Loving God comes before I can truly love anybody else. Scripture for thought Deuteronomy 6:5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. Deuteronomy 8:6 Therefore you shall keep the commandments of the LORD your God, walking in His ways and fearing Him. Hebrews 4:13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. Love bears fruit, it reveals the nature of God in you. Galatians 5:22-23 But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! No anxiousness, No fear just pure love Commit to praying for others and trust God to work in their lives. Do not worry about them. When you give them to the Lord, pick up the peace Jesus gave you. John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled; do not be afraid. We have the heart of the Father, we have the gentleness of the Son Matthew 11:28-30 Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” The fear of man is a real issue in our lives, it can be subtle, or it can be loud. It can be persistent pressing you until it gets its way and its desire is to get you off the path that leads to life. Do not compromise. This path may look lonely, but it is not, the Lord is with you and will add to you shortly.
