Fully Rooted

Some trees have roots too close to the surface of the ground, they don't go down deep into the earth. As we trust Jesus our roots grow down into God’s love. Not everyone is on the same spiritual level. Do not beat them up for it, don’t be hard on them and do not by any means allow yourself to be made to feel small when God has called you to come up higher. It’s one thing to humble ourselves to one another but an entirely different thing to be hurt, or offended over what others do not understand, what they don’t get about you or what they do not see as important. It is so easy to think the wrong way. It's so easy to minimize yourself and let others minimize you. You are not small you're great in this earth because you are in Christ and Christ is in you. We are to grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (2 Peter 3:18) Ephesians 3:14-21 2 Peter 3:18 1 Peter 5:5-7 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Psalm 1:2-3 Psalm 27:1,13-14 Hebrews 4: Ephesians 3:14-21 Hebrews 5:8 Even though Jesus was God’s Son, he learned obedience from the things he suffered. Jeremiah 17:5-14 (5-8) Thus says the LORD: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the LORD. 6 For he shall be like a shrub in the desert, And shall not see when good comes But shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, In a salt land which is not inhabited. 7 “Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, And whose hope is the LORD. 8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.
