Crave Pure Spiritual Milk Growing Deeper Trust in the Lord with all of your heart, do not lean on your own understanding. Trust the Father's words, he has nothing but life and peace in mind for you he wants to restore the power. He wants to bring us into a place where we are not moved by what we see or what we hear. Those people that live with us the big ones and the little ones somehow, they know how to affect us, and even if they should do it unaware, we are moved by the situations and circumstances that they are walking in and we're troubled, and we're perplexed but the Lord did not give us a spirit of fear, confusion, or doubt. The Lord gave us his Spirit who teaches us all things he'll help us to not lean on our own understanding. The Lord wants us to go deeper, and grow deeper in the knowledge of his grace and that is possible as we submit our cares to him and lean on him. We eagerly await the sound of his voice so that we can walk in this life as the true children of God. We are being born from above not the beneath especially as we keep our eyes on the author and finisher of our faith. Scripture for thought 1 Peter 1:1-25 1 Peter 2:1-3 So get rid of all evil behavior. Be done with all deceit, hypocrisy, jealousy, and all unkind speech. Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment, 3now that you have had a taste of the Lord’s kindness. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Ephesians 5:10-13 In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [draw your strength from Him and be empowered through your union with Him] and in the power of His [boundless] might. Put on the full armor of God [for His precepts are like the splendid armor of a heavily-armed soldier], so that you may be able to [successfully] stand up against all the schemes and the strategies and the deceits of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places. Therefore, put on the complete armor of God, so that you will be able to [successfully] resist and stand your ground in the evil day [of danger], and having done everything [that the crisis demands], to stand firm [in your place, fully prepared, immovable, victorious].
